One-piece GPS Offender Tracker

Incorporating a high sensitivity GPS receiver and a quad-band GSM radio, the TRX is a fully active, single-piece offender tracker. The TRX is small, lightweight and made of hypoallergenic materials. The strap is cut to the proper length and no other special tools or electronic keys are required for installation. The TRX utilizes highly secure fiber optic strap tamper detection. The TRX takes a unique approach to power management.  Rather than using an internal battery that requires that the offender recharge it by attaching their ankle band directly to a power supply connected to an electrical outlet, and sitting still for long periods of time, multiple times each day, the TRX uses a replaceable battery design.  Two batteries are supplied with the TRX – one in the TRX, and one in the charger.  The offender simply changes the battery at prescribed intervals.  An internal battery keeps the TRX powered during the battery changing.
